Due to exciting growth, my client, a large packaging business is seeking a Key Account Manager who enjoys managing clients and hunting new business. Reporting to National Sales Manager and opperating from Melbourne, you’ll drive sales across Australia with a focus of winning new business. To be successful in this role, you’ll thrive in winning new business and building new, long lasting and successful relationships.
The Role:
* Deliver on budgeted financials for assigned customers
* Account Planning and Management is implemented to regularly monitor performance
* Ensure effective price management is conducted with strong forecast planning.
* Identify and qualify new business opportunities
* Develop and present winning customer value propositions to the key accounts
* Present product & price presentations to relevant stakeholders.
* Salesforce CRM utilization, management, and reporting
You’ll have:
* Customer centric approach coupled with strong communication skills
* Experience in the packaging or adjacent industries is preferred
* Previous BDM and/or Key Account Manager experience
* Ability to work in teams and autonomously
* Strong commercial acumen and able to demostrate strategic business development skills
* Experience negotiating and managing contracts
