What you will be doing As a Maintenance Fitter / Electrician, working Monday to Friday with a 7am start you will be responsible for the following duties: Conducting preventative maintenance, modifications, and repairs on plant and equipment Ensuring plant and equipment are maintained to specified standards and safe working conditions Responding to emergency breakdowns and minimizing unplanned downtime Coordinating maintenance activities with the operations team Maintaining and operating a computerized maintenance management system for tracking work orders and spare parts Conducting root cause analysis for breakdowns and safety issues Preparing reports and analyzing data to improve plant operations and efficiency Monitoring plant equipment performance and identifying opportunities for improvement Complying with all safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures What you will need To be successful in this role, you will need to have: Trade qualification as a Fitter and Turner 5+ years of industry experience working in manufacturing and maintenance teams Strong knowledge of OH&S and environmental policies and legislation Current drivers and forklift licenses Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office and maintenance software Ability to work under pressure with effective communication skills EWP operations license Relevant tickets to perform tasks What s in it for you Permanent position with a stable and reputable company Competitive salary with opportunities for overtime Supportive team environment with opportunities for career development APPLY NOW!
