Our client is a well-respected Nissan and automobile servicing garage with over 30 years of servicing and repairing conventional automobiles to rally and motorsport vehicles in South Australia. The position of motor mechanic is responsible for servicing, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles. Key Responsibilities Include: Ensure reactive and preventative maintenance, servicing and repair requirements are in accordance with maintenance schedules including oil changes, transmission fluids, tire pressure, etc. Identify, test and repair different types of motor, mechanical and electrical failures on vehicle engines and machinery. Fault test and diagnose. Perform repairs and replace defective/worn parts. Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmission, steering mechanisms, components and check parts. Reassemble engines and parts for repair. Qualifications Required: Experience working in a similar role. Qualified mechanic (AQF III or equivalent). At least 3 years of full-time working experience. Good attention to detail. Ability to work in a team. Good communication skills and interpersonal skills. Must be able to comply with all OHS policies and procedures. Be motivated and able to work together and want to achieve company targets. An attractive remuneration will be based upon the applicant's skills and experience.
