The CEO is responsible for establishing and leading the implementation, operationalisation, and delivery of QA’s strategic plan and vision.Working closely with key University stakeholders, the CEO will liaise closely with partner universities (including administrative universities for Nodes) and the QA Board to promote Quantum Australia among government, industry, university and community stakeholders.The CEO will manage the staff of the QA headquarters, based at the University of Sydney, as well as provide leadership for the 6 state-based nodes across Australia, and overseeing the development and implementation of QA’s programs, including:Quantum Ecosystem DevelopmentPartnershipNew VenturesKey RequirementsAdvanced stakeholder management skills including a proven track record in building effective relationships across diverse and senior stakeholders in business, government and researchExperience engaging with and attracting investment from industryExperience in operations and/or setting up systemsExperience in strategic leadership, people management and developmentExperience in financial management and operational reportingPostgraduate degree in a relevant field such as business, stakeholder relations or policyTerm and remunerationThe term of the appointment is a 3-year fixed term.
