The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced Project Architect / Design Manager to lead a small team of architects and interior designers through the construction services stage of multiple projects. This role is critical to ensuring project design integrity, construction compliance and quality. About the role As a registered Architect, you possess strong design and documentation skills and have an in-depth understanding of the details and technical knowledge required in the delivery of multi residential and commercial projects. You are curious and consider the big picture yet are also resourceful and thrive on problem solving and workshopping innovative design solutions within a team environment. As a motivated and proactive professional, you will confidently and effectively communicate with clients, consultants and other stakeholders. You have strong written, verbal and graphic presentation skills. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to be working across several projects and stages concurrently. Skills, experience & responsibilities Confidently lead and manage a team to provide Construction Services under a novation agreement, ensuring smooth project execution Act as the primary point of contact for Client / Project Manager and Builder during the construction phase of projects Respond to RFIs, conduct site inspections, and resolve design and construction issues. Review and approve shop drawings Excellent technical, construction and regulatory knowledge, ensure design and construction compliance with the National Construction Code (NCC) and regulatory standards Utilise Revit for model coordination and construction documentation.
