This is a unique opportunity for someone who seeks to work as a Sales Specialist which will be leading by the experienced sales manager and responsible for getting new business for the company. We offer a base salary 60,000 + Super+ Reimbursement on actual spend +uncapped commissions the earning potential is almost limitless You will be responsible for reporting to the Sales manager of Business Development department with a dotting line to the General Manager, The role's key accountabilities will be: l Actively seeking out sales opportunities for new equipment (ie: daily cold calling/prospecting for new business). For this reason, we would also consider applications from those with a telemarketer/telemarketing background that are passionate about moving into a client-facing sales position, provided they also had reasonable mechanical aptitude. l Presenting quotations and proposals to new and existing clients; l Working closely with the Technical and service team to ensure client’s expectations are met; l Helping to organise, and attend, trade shows and related networking activities l Continually keeping the Client Information Collection Form up to date to reflect the activities you have performed within your region l Meeting market share expectations and other KPI's provided by Management l Travel both domestically and internationally to represent the interests of the company. l Engage with industry consultancies and affiliates for market research and BD opportunities. l Submit activity and result reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, monthly and annual regional analyses, to keep management informed of the situation. l Ensure contract execution, address any issues, and ensure client satisfaction with goods and services. About You To be successful in this role you will need to be a trustworthy individual with a high moral code. And as you will be required to travel for new business development, you will need to be able to work autonomously. l You must have sales experience (non-retail sales), sales in the mechanical industry is preferred. l A previous knowledge or client base in the desired regions (transmission power industry) will be highly advantageous. l You will need to conduct market research, and be responsible for the KPIs. l Candidates who are able to work autonomously and are willing to travel will be highly regarded l A confident, courteous, professional and ethical sales approach l A willingness to identify and chase new business opportunities l A high motivational drive to meet and exceed sales targets l A demonstrated industrial/mechanical sales history l Must be in Australia with work rights, an Australian citizen, or a permanent resident.
