Monday to Friday, 76 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight $70,440 per annum (LGIA Stream B Level 4 + Site) + Superannuation Location – Rockhampton Your new role Rockhampton Regional Council are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Truck Driver/Labourer to join our dynamic Urban Operations team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the delivery of various civil construction projects. You will operate trucks and undertake general civil construction labouring duties including, but not limited to, pipe laying, concreting, level-checking, bitumen/road works, and compaction using a vibrating plate. You will be responsible for operating and conducting pre-start and maintenance of trucks and other various types of council assets.
This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).
What we are looking for Hold a Construction Industry Induction (White Card) and legally operate under a HR Class Licence (higher classes of licence are desirable). Certificate III in Civil Construction and/or equivalent demonstrated experience. Ability to carry out your duties in a safe manner whilst ensuring the safety of your team members and customers. Must be capable of working harmoniously and productively in a diverse and multi-skilled work team. A positive demeanour with a customer-focused attitude.
