About the Role

The Delivery Liaison Officer is responsible for high-quality administration support to their team to enable the Regional Services team to operate effectively and achieve successful outcomes in line with DTP Management Frameworks.
This position provides a range of support activities for the team, including drafting high-quality correspondence, project tracking, reporting and records management, and key stakeholder liaison. The Liaison Officer is responsible for connecting internal and external high-level stakeholder coordination and engagement, as well as coordinating key deliverables such as e-Briefings, ensuring that delivery projects are coordinated, that information flows are effective with timely advice, allowing better decision making. The role builds relationships with Capital and Maintenance delivery teams, Managers, Officers, and high-level stakeholders including Councils and others across the Victorian Government to support the effective operation of the Department, coordination and delivery in the Regions.
* The Delivery Liaison Officer (DLO) role has ensured that centrally delivered maintenance and capital works are well coordinated with all regional stakeholders including LGAs and Alpine Resort Management Boards (where applicable). This will involve developing reporting systems and processes that align with the relevant stakeholder’s needs.
* The DLO will ensure Regional stakeholders are satisfied with the level of coordination support received and collaboration opportunities presented.
* The Delivery Liaison Officer will ensure that DTP regional teams are well informed of central program planning and delivery through developing systems and reporting mechanisms.

* In line with Section 31A of the Public Administration Act 2004 (Vic), other duties may be assigned consistent with employment classification, skills, and capabilities.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
The Delivery Liaison Officer will have the ability to manage relationships by adding value and addressing concerns (Stakeholder Management), communicate information clearly and logically for diverse audiences (Communicate with Impact), and influence and persuade others to support ideas and achieve outcomes through both direct and indirect channels (Influence and Persuasion). The successful candidate will understand the broader organisational context, including internal dynamics and external pressures (Political and Organisational Context), as well as fostering collaboration through partnering and co-creation, where inclusive design processes and shared input are key to developing successful strategies and products (Partnering and Co-Creation).
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
* Proven experience with drafting high-level written communication.
* Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
