APS3 Accounts Payable Officer
Approximate 6-month non-ongoing Part time (2-4 days a week) contract with possibility of extension| Canberra Location | $66,422 - $74,302 per annum (pro rata) plus 15.4% superannuation | Baseline clearance preferred or ability to obtain
OVERVIEW
Our Federal Government client is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their team at the APS3 level. Within this role you will provide support to the creditor team and be responsible for general administration duties.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
* Creating and amending vendors/creditors.
* Work closely with their supervisor in relation to any super vendor enquiries and requests which come through the Creditor mailbox.
* Responsible for managing the vendor mailbox for all enquiries and requests.
* Maintaining creditor forms and instructions.
* Require strong attention to detail.
* Providing quality customer support to stakeholders, including responding to queries and providing guidance.
* Provides support to creditor team including entering or updating validated vendor information under direction.
* General administration and reporting including data collation and reconciliation, email management (using Outlook) and other tasks in support of the team.
* Ensuring efficient and effective use of time, and Commonwealth resources.
* Participating in continuous business improvement activities.
EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS
* Experience using TechnologyOne (CiA) is desirable.
* Experience building and sustaining relationships with stakeholders and subject matter experts, both internal and external, to deliver financial outcomes.
* Experience in providing general support and advice.
* Understanding of financial governance requirements and compliance with the financial management framework.
* Working as part of a team of client focussed, solution driven staff who have clarity on their roles, responsibilities, expected values and behaviours.
