About The RoleAt The Dental Group, we are seeking an Oral Health Therapist (OHT) to join our passionate team dedicated to providing exceptional dental care in a supportive environment.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and play a key role in promoting oral health and hygiene.Your ResponsibilitiesAs an OHT, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients, providing routine preventative care, and educating patients on best oral health practices.
You will collaborate with our dental team to create tailored treatment plans that meet the needs of our patients.What You'll Do:Conduct oral health assessments and screeningsProvide preventive and therapeutic dental care, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride applicationsEducate patients on oral hygiene practices and dietary adviceWork collaboratively with dentists and the dental team to implement comprehensive treatment plansMaintain accurate patient records and stay up-to-date with treatment progressParticipate in community outreach programs to promote oral health awarenessRequirementsEssential Qualifications:At least 2 years' experience as an Oral Health Therapist or in a similar roleValid OHT registration and practicing certificateStrong knowledge of dental hygiene principles and practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work well in a team-oriented environmentCommitment to continuous professional developmentJoin The Dental Group and contribute to making a positive impact on the oral health of our community.
