About the roleThe Team Manager will lead the Marketing & Advertising team in the strategic development, production and execution of impactful road safety campaigns and marketing communications that assist in reducing road trauma in Victoria. This will be achieved by promoting safe speeds, safe road-users, safe vehicles and a safe road system in order to reduce the number, severity and cost of transport accidents on Victoria's roads. About the TeamThe Team Manager leads a dedicated team of Campaign Managers and Campaign Coordinators. This team is characterised by its positive, collaborative and highly supportive culture, with members who are highly motivated and committed to successfully driving behaviour change within the Victorian Road User Community. What we're looking for Leadership and Team DevelopmentThe ideal candidate will offer well-rounded people leadership experience, in order to effectively lead and mentor a team of passionate marketing professionals, nurturing a workplace culture that encourages collaboration and innovation. This role requires a strategic mindset to actively contribute to divisional leadership objectives, driving team performance and engagement. Strategic Campaign ManagementThe Team Manager will lead the development and execution of evidence-based marketing campaigns that resonate with the Victorian community. Leveraging audience insights, the role demands creativity, strategic thinking and demonstrated experience in complex campaign management, media planning and buying, to ensure campaigns effectively support the Victorian Road Safety Strategy 2030 and achieve desired outcomes. Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship BuildingBuilding and influencing relationships with key stakeholders, including government departments and road safety partners, is crucial. The role entails managing internal engagement and approvals and collaborating effectively with external agencies to ensure campaigns are developed and delivered to meet core governance requirements while achieving alignment with broader road safety objectives.
