Job no: 897223Work type: Part timeLocation: Adelaide CBDCategories: Administration, Business and Management, Allied and Scientific HealthWomen's and Children's Health Network, Sub Acute & Allied Health, North Adelaide (5006)Classification - ASO5 - Administrative Services Officer L5 - $85,790 to $95,413+ Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice BenefitsPart Time (0.5 FTE) - Term Contract, initially until 31 December, 2025.About the OpportunityWe currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Spiritual Care team as a Spiritual Care Coordinator, where you will be responsible for:Ensuring the Spiritual Care Service delivers effective person-centred spiritual care aligned to Women's and Children's Health Network service outcomes and strategic objectives in a contemporary healthcare environment.Building the identity, relevance, and value of Spiritual Care within a multi-disciplinary context among staff and the community, that is acknowledged as improving the quality and efficacy of healthcare.Assisting with enhancing quality and safety in delivery of Spiritual Care within the Women's and Children's Health Network.Fostering patient and staff perceptions of the service as a contemporary inclusive person-centred and compassionate Spiritual Care service for people of all faiths and no faith.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Meet eligibility requirements for Certified Membership with Spiritual Care Australia, which requires the successful completion of one or more units of Clinical Pastoral Education (or equivalent).Relevant experience as a spiritual care practitioner working with children, adolescents, and families, to provide appropriate spiritual care within their faith tradition, as well as having a broad understanding and respect for other faith traditions.Experience working with children and/or adolescents with significant health issues or disability.Demonstrated commitment to provision of a sensitive respectful approach to spiritual, multi-faith and multi-cultural issues and demonstrated capacity to effectively engage with a diversity of stakeholders and service providers, including faith communities, enabling the delivery of an integrated service.Proven written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to assist with liaising at a senior level within a health care setting for the strategic development and monitoring of a governance framework, that enhances quality assurance and safety.What WCHN Can Offer YouRelocation financial support may be negotiated, subject to eligibility.Salary package a range of benefits (including living expenses such as mortgage, rent, utility bills and groceries) up to $9,010 each FBT year + $2,650 for Meal Entertainment expenses each FBT year.Access to Fitness Passport (workplace health and fitness program that gives you and your family access to a wide choice of gyms and pools across South Australia.
