About the role
Tom Group Transport T/A Prime Cabinetry is seeking a part-time Administration Assistant to join our team in Browns Plains, Queensland. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to our growing organisation, contributing to the smooth running of our day-to-day operations.
What you'll be doing
* Handling a variety of administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, document management, and scheduling.
* Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
* Maintaining and updating office records and databases.
* Supporting the broader team with ad-hoc administrative duties as required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
* Reconcile bank statements and ensure that all financial transactions are properly documented.
* Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
* Prepare financial reports for the Director as needed.
* Assist with payroll processing and related administrative tasks.
* Manage and track budgets, expenses, and cash flow.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
* Provide general administrative support to the Director, including scheduling and correspondence.
* Maintain filing systems for financial and administrative documents.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as an Administration Assistant, Bookkeeper, or in a similar role.
* Proficient in bookkeeping software Xero and MS Office (especially Excel).
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
* Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
* High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
* Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and customer-focused approach.
* Proficiency in using standard office software, such as Microsoft Office suite including Excel.
* A keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
* A flexible and adaptable approach, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
