About the Role: Due to a move internally, a smaller organisation with exciting growth plans are looking for a Senior Commercial Analyst. You will work closely with the CFO and be responsible for taking ownership of the delivery of all financial roles including month end, annual planning, forecasting and providing commercial acumen across different divisions. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive analyses of market trends, competitive landscapes, and consumer preferences to identify growth opportunities and potential risks across target markets. Develop and execute strategic initiatives to expand market presence and drive revenue growth, collaborating closely with sales, marketing, and product teams. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distribution partners, developing tailored propositions to support business objectives and promote long-term partnerships. Create and manage detailed financial models to support market and customer strategies, including forecasting, budgeting, and profitability assessments. Develop and recommend pricing structures and promotional programs that align with profitability goals, taking into account competitive positioning and market dynamics. Oversee the introduction and lifecycle management of products in the market, ensuring alignment with customer needs and company objectives. Provide strategic support to the sales team by developing tools, insights, and resources that enhance customer engagement and close rates. Lead the planning and execution of industry and partner events to increase brand awareness and foster strong client relationships. Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure effective product flow, inventory management, and timely fulfillment of customer orders. Regularly monitor and report on key performance metrics, providing insights to stakeholders to guide strategic decisions and ensure alignment with business objectives. Key Skills for the role: CA/CPA Qualified or studying towards. Perform variance analysis and develop financial models to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, delivering actionable insights. Maintain and improve financial models and databases to uphold data accuracy for strategic decision-making. Strong Financial modelling and variance analysis. Strong Excel skills. Prepare presentations for the executive team and Board, ensuring clarity and relevance of financial data. Work with other departments to support cross-functional initiatives, offering financial analysis and insights. The Successful Applicant Ideally, you will be a CA/CPA Qualified Accounting professional and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross-functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. Additionally, you will have very strong Microsoft Excel skills, be "hands-on," have prior exposure working in a Commercial Analyst role and be okay in start up environment.
