There is a strong tradition of student and parent participation, and the school maintains productive links with local businesses and organisations.Selection CriteriaApproval to teach and/or experience teaching special education that will allow you to perform duties to support the learning needs of students with emotional disturbance, behaviour difficulties, Autism, mild and moderate learning difficulties.Demonstrated ability to develop Personalised Learning and Support Plans to maximise student growth, promote high expectations, and ensure engagement to meet the diverse needs of students, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.Demonstrated successful classroom management with a flexible and open approach, creating a positive learning environment that promotes student wellbeing, authentic relationships, and success, including collaborative practice with families, students, and key stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in designing differentiated programs that respond to the social, emotional, behavioural, academic, and communication requirements of students with complex learning and behavioural needs.ConditionsAn unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement.
