We’re looking for a skilled professional to join our dynamic team Make a meaningful contribution to the work of the Organisation and Business Support Team within Aboriginal Affairs NSW This is a temporary Grade Clerk 5/6 role, up to 12 months, based in Mascot About the Role As an Assistant Project Officer, you'll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of projects by conducting research, analysis, and reporting. Your contributions will help drive project implementation and ensure that objectives are met, while providing essential administrative support to keep everything on track. Aboriginal Affairs NSW works alongside Aboriginal people and communities to make sure their voices are heard, and their interests represented in government. By leading and influencing policy change in government, we support the long-term social, cultural, and economic aspirations of Aboriginal people in NSW. The Organisation and Business Support Team is one of four Strategic Support teams that help influence outcomes by providing assistance across the whole organisation. You have demonstrated experience in support services, including project plan implementation, resource coordination, designing tools and preparing reports and briefs You have experience in finance processes including, reconciling accounts payable and receivable accounts, monitoring and tracking budgets, purchase orders and invoice payments and developing and maintaining compliant financial filing records You are organised and can provide broad support, ensuring smooth, efficient work across various teams and departments You’re proficient in using electronic document management systems, databases, spreadsheets, and electronic communication applications, including MS Office software You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with all stakeholders We know the value of diverse experiences.
