About the Role
As the Manager, Physiotherapy, you will play an integral role in the allied health leadership team, working closely with an experienced group of physiotherapists to support and guide the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care. Your responsibilities will encompass clinical support, team management, and the development of policies and standards of practice. Representing physiotherapy within both government and non-government sectors, you will provide critical consultancy to ensure alignment with best practices and service standards across the CALHN network.
In this dynamic role, you will oversee various aspects of physiotherapy services, from governance and education to professional development and research initiatives. You will collaborate with Allied Health Directors, Clinical Directorates, and other stakeholders to foster flexible, responsive, and innovative services. Additionally, you’ll contribute strategic advice on workforce planning and development to advance clinical practices and service offerings. Balancing these responsibilities, you may also carry a complex clinical caseload as needed and will have the opportunity to deputise for Senior Managers, further enhancing your leadership impact across CALHN.
About You
We’re looking for an experienced, dedicated physiotherapy leader who is skilled in clinical practice, communication, and team collaboration. To excel in this role, you will need:
* A degree in Physiotherapy with registration by the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
* Proven leadership and supervisory experience within physiotherapy, including developing policies and educational programs.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
* In-depth knowledge of quality improvement, WHS principles, and budgetary processes, with experience in policy application and project management.
