Estimator - Remedials Job details Posted 18 March 2025 LocationSydney Job type Sectors CGC Cover Reference3892784 Job description Estimator RemedialsThe Company Medium Large sized remedials contractor, dominant player in the market Remedials projects tend to range in value up to $7m, general remedials, cladding, refurbishment, fire upgrades, concreting and waterproofing Strong pipeline of work running to July next year slightly over capacity hence the recruitment drive Plans to expand over the next 2 years Good culture and environment, operate as a close network, good communication between teams Newly renovated offices - beautiful offices The Role: Analyse plans, bills of quantities and other project documentation to estimate costs Research, source, negotiate and obtain the best prices and quotes from suppliers and subcontractors Analyse data that can affect costs (such as currency exchange rates and the companys productivity rates) Assess the financial, technical and operational risks of the project Keeping up to date with the latest regulatory and legislative requirements Inputting into decisions over whether to bid for the project Working closely with key members of the project team and liaising with clients and suppliers Ensure timely completion of tenders What you'll need to be successful in the role: Minimum 2-3 years experience minimum as an Estimator Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations Strong communication and interpersonal skills Youll be supported by the project management team throughout the tender process Ability to manage 4-5 tenders per month How to Apply Please click apply or send your CV to ****** - if you wish to discuss the role, please call Emma Browne on: 0434 440 883.
