It includes responsibility for the program design, planning, implementation, evaluation and project management. The role involves directly working with Traditional Owner Corporations and the participating EPOCs to learn about EPA, the Environment Protection Act and support environment protection opportunities on Country. In this role you will: Lead the program delivery, implementation and improvement under the Aboriginal Inclusion Action Plan including the Environment Protection On Country (EPOC) program. Engage with Traditional Owner Corporations including with the EPOC participants in identifying partnerships and collaboration opportunities for outcomes on Country that are achievable through the Environment Protection Act Mentor and culturally support EPOC participants and working across EPA to ensure a safe working environment, supporting learning and development opportunities and outcomes for participants Work collaboratively with relevant parts of the EPA business and Traditional Owner corporations on the development and implementation of partnership liaison protocols and workplans of participating Traditional Owner corporations Skills and experience: Demonstrated senior level experience in working effectively with diverse Traditional Owner groups and Aboriginal Victorians. Demonstrated experience in program development and management preferably in a public sector context. Knowledge of the frameworks in place in Victoria for the recognition of Traditional Owner Corporations and Recognised Aboriginal Parties.
