Job Overview: The Business Impact Manager position plays a crucial role in assisting with and overseeing various aspects of our industry, capability, and market teams' operations and strategic direction.
This position will be part of the Business Impact Team (BIT) and provide support to the Australia Market Leader and Regional Practice Leader in facilitating market and practice business development and management initiatives.
In this capacity, you will serve as a vital function within the organization as a key advisor to the leaders of the firm.
It is essential that you establish trust and exert influence among staff at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Practice and Market Management
• Leading practice/market processes, including flagging, coordinating, and prompting Market/Practice Leader.
• Ownership and implementation for ad-hoc projects (i.e., market/practice initiatives, specific training curriculum etc).
• Preparation of meetings, materials, meeting minute distributions, and follow-ups, including:
• Plan and drive key internal market/practice meetings, e.g., leadership meetings, Partner meetings, practice/market staff events, practice/market offsite agenda and coordination, local IC sharing etc.
• Proactively prepare meetings, including ownership of materials.
• PMO responsibilities, track actions, and ensure proactive and timely follow-up.
Commercial Activities/ Client Development
• Maintain commercial effectiveness tracking and reporting where required.
• Support on HIPPO process within market/practice.
• Support where relevant on regular client meetings and follow-ups (i.e., preparing and collating materials).
• Coordinate on commercial offerings and campaign management across industries / capabilities / accounts.
• Owning the Project Impact process for the market/practice, including chasing, reporting, and providing suggestions for actions.
Communications & Engagement Topics
• Communications ownership: newsletters, emails for new aligners/staffers, weekly staffing/commercial.
• Work with the Partner group and Support departments to ensure all internal information is updated, including email groups, intranet, knowledge management system etc.
• Coordination of market/practice offsites, other social events.
• Support Practices/Markets on engagement and retention, wellness, and I&D initiatives to ensure practice staff feel a sense of belonging in collaboration with relevant SP functions.
Experience Required: The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of experience in a consulting or professional services firm, ideally with >1 year at OW, ensuring an understanding of firm culture and basic processes.
