We are looking for an experienced SAP Data Migration Consultant to join our SAP practice. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across S/4HANA greenfield, brownfield, hybrid projects, leveraging tools such as SNP CrystalBridge, SAP Migration Cockpit, Data Services etc.
You will play a critical role in planning, designing, and executing data migration strategies for SAP S/4HANA implementations, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and minimal disruption to business operations.
As Senior Manager in the SAP team, your responsibilities include:
Lead end-to-end data migration lifecycle for SAP projects: planning, extraction, transformation, validation, and loading.
Design and implement migration strategies tailored for Greenfield, Brownfield, and Hybrid scenarios.
Work with tools like SNP, SAP Migration Cockpit, and other ETL solutions to support complex migration landscapes.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to define data mapping, cleansing, and enrichment requirements.
Develop and execute data validation rules and reconciliation reports to ensure migration quality and auditability.
Prepare data migration documentation including strategy, detailed cutover plans, and data load guides.
Support mock conversions, dry runs, and production cutovers.
Identify and resolve data quality and transformation issues proactively.
Work closely with functional consultants, basis teams, and business SMEs to ensure smooth data transition.
Apply best practices around data governance, compliance, and audit readiness throughout the migration lifecycle.
About You:
Deep SAP data migration experience, including multiple end-to-end S/4HANA projects.
Strong understanding of SAP data structures across key modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, HCM, PP).
Hands-on experience with SNP CrystalBridge or other Selective Data Transition tools is highly preferred.
Proficiency in SAP LTMC, Data Services, and custom ETL solutions.
Experience in both legacy-to-SAP and SAP-to-SAP migrations.
Strong analytical and data profiling skills using SQL or equivalent tools.
Ability to design and maintain mapping templates and transformation logic.
Understanding of Data Governance principles, Data Clean Core, Archiving and Data Tiering strategies in the context of SAP S/4HANA.
Proficient in creating data reports, dashboards, and metrics to track progress and outcomes of data cleansing activities
