Full time - 36.25 hours per week Based at the Townsville Bebegu Yumba campus, Douglas HEWL 7 - $94,374.07 to $104,359.73 per annum, with a 3% salary increase effective from July 2025, plus up to 17% superannuation. WHAT YOU CAN ACCOMPLISH IN THE ROLE You will deliver high-level support and services to a number of key University Committees. Taking part in the coordination of a wide range of functions within the University Secretariat, you will provide specialist advice on the governance of committees and their responsibilities, respond to complex enquiries, and provide support to the Deputy University Secretary and University Secretary.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE In addition to holding a degree qualification in a related field and/or relevant experience, you bring a high-level understanding of committee processes and of the statutory and regulatory context in which universities operate. Your ability to research and investigate issues, analyse information, and advise on policy and legal requirements with high-level communication skills will be essential to succeed in this role.
