Are you passionate about technology and eager to kickstart your career in IT support? We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented ICT Technical Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide crucial Level 1 and 2 support to our end users, ensuring the smooth operation of our Information Communication Technology (ICT) systems across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
* Manage ICT support requests through our Service Desk system, providing timely and effective assistance.
* Install, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network systems to keep operations running smoothly across our various sites.
* Support MS Office and other key applications, ensuring our users can work efficiently.
* Monitor and maintain system security, backups, and the ICT Asset Register.
* Assist with physical setups and participate in exciting ICT projects.
Qualifications and Experience required:
* Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
* Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
* Familiarity with Windows operating systems and MS Office Suite.
* Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
* Proactive, with a keen interest in learning and adapting to new technologies.
* Ability to work well in a team and independently.
* Previous experience in IT support or customer service is a plus.
