Role Overview
Aptella are looking for a Support Technician to join their team based in Balcatta. This is a full-time role reporting to the Support Services Manager. The primary objectives of this role are to provide support to customers in relation to service, hire and sales of GIS/Mapping, GPS, Total Station, Machine Control and Software solutions.
Ideally you have a background in Operational Technology or similar discipline and have a strong interest in problem solving..
This role is also subject to a pre-employment medical assessment and police check.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Providing technical phone support
* Managing support Cases within Case Management Framework
* Field Support for Geo-Spatial and/ or Mining products icl. Machine Control products
* Internal Support for Field Services Team
* Assisting Pre-Delivery Team Leader in setting up Hire Equipment and Geo-Spatial deliveries
* Assisting Field Services Scheduler with field service requirements and scheduling
* Customer liaison to assist with delivery requirements and system setup.
* Delivery of basic user training to customers
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will have the following attributes:
* Experience with Operational Technology
* Experience with Networks or RF communication technology
* Familiarisation with heavy machinery and site operations
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
