Melbourne Wealth Management Contract or Temporary
Our client, a leading global wealth management firm, is seeking an experienced Equity Markets Dealer Assistant (Mandarin Speaking) in Melbourne for an initial 12-month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
* Facilitating all administrative client queries
* Client onboarding, including preparation of account documentation and creation of client records
* Aarranging and assisting with maintenance of client accounts and records, in line with current AML/CTF, KYC Regulations
* IPO and corporate action allocation management
* Preparation of client valuations, asset allocations, and reporting as required
* Assisting in client asset transfers, including cash, both domestically and internationally
* Processing and monitoring stock settlements, including follow-up with clients regarding outstanding funds
* Prioritizing competing adviser requests in a fast-paced environment
* Assisting with logistics and planning for The Asia Practice's client events
* Providing ad hoc translation for marketing purposes
Requirements:
* Fluent in English and Mandarin
* High attention to detail
* Strong literacy and numeracy ability
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
* Strong organisational skills
* Management experience
* Fundamental knowledge of financial advice process, markets, and industry
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Desirable Qualifications:
* Desirable tertiary qualification in Finance, Business, or Economics
* RG146 qualification
* Experience within wealth management, stockbroking, or financial planning
* Understanding of Broking Platforms (Domestic and International)
* Understanding of Portfolio management platforms (e.g. Praemium)
This role will be hired on an initial 12-month contract and paid on a highly competitive rate depending on experience.
