About this opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to assist our client living in California Gully in Bendigo.
This client requires support in the mornings from 9am to 12pm or 1pm depending on the day. These shifts are available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays.
We have another client based in Castlemaine who you may also get the opportunity to work with. She has services Monday to Sunday in the mornings.
Duties include light personal care, assisting with light house cleaning & meal preparation as well as escorting clients to community events, shopping & appointments. You will be required to transport clients in your own car.
Requirements:
* Cert III or IV in Disability, Community, Aged Care Support or Individual Support. Student Nurses who are currently in their second year of studies may also apply.
* Minimum 6 months of recent support work experience (or 6-8 week of placement experience for student nurses)
* NDIS Worker Screening
* Current first aid certificate
* Reliable vehicle with insurance and Australian Drivers License (Minimum Green P plates)
* Professional referees who can confirm your healthcare experience
