McArthur has exciting opportunities for experienced Home Support Assessors, working in a locum capacity with an organisation dedicated to providing high-quality assessment services for older adults and people living with disabilities.The organisationOur client is a prominent provider of assessment services, focused on ensuring that older Australians receive the support they need to live independently while retaining and maximising their functional capabilities. They work closely with clients, service providers, and external stakeholders to facilitate referrals to essential services.Key ResponsibilitiesFacilitate timely, client-centred assessments that enhance the independence and quality of life for older Australians.Engage with families and carers as key stakeholders throughout the assessment process.Monitor and manage assessment schedules, ensuring assessments are completed by the due date and in line with Department of Health requirements.Collaborate with team members and participate in continuous improvement activities to ensure exceptional service delivery.Ensure client satisfaction by providing excellent service and demonstrating empathy and professionalism.Skills / ExperienceQualification in Nursing, Allied Health, Community Aged Care plus 5 years of direct Aged Care experience.MUST have minimum of 1 year's recent experience working in RAS and hold IAT and SOA2 or SAS certificationDemonstrated ability to conduct client assessments and provide high-quality service delivery.Strong communication skills (both written and oral) with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.Valid Australian driver's license and a comprehensively insured vehicle for travel requirements.Understanding of the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) or Home Care Packages.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage, influence, and build rapport with clients and teams.COVID vaccination x3, 2024 Flu vaccinationAble to work at least 3 days per weekWhat's on OfferSupportive and collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement.Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.The chance to make a real difference in the lives of older Australians by helping them live independently and with dignity.Great casual hourly rate plus generous travel allowance, and weekly pay.Long term assignments with leading Assessment Service Providers.Working as a locum Assessor with McArthur allows you the flexibility to have a great work/life balance.
