The Position
We are seeking a talented CAD Designer to join our team at NDY. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and distributing coordinated models and producing dimensionally accurate design documentation for our project team. You will coordinate consultant data exchanges of the 3D model and supporting files.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Section Manager (CAD), Project Leaders, and other project personnel, including designers and contractors, in producing design documentation.
* Act as a BIM Consultant, assisting in the development of BIM execution plans and standards across projects.
* Mentor the Revit/Navisworks knowledge base and skills within the group, providing technical software assistance and resolution to team members.
* Guide the team in clash detection and resolution between NDY Revit/Navisworks tools, ensuring resultant actions are incorporated into the model and implemented within the project.
Who we’re looking for:
You will use your experience to deliver projects within the allocated time limitations and work closely with the engineers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
* Proven experience in CAD design and BIM consulting.
* Proficiency in Revit and Navisworks.
* Strong coordination and communication skills.
* Ability to mentor and provide technical assistance to team members.
