* Availability across a 7-day roster, including morning and afternoon shifts.
We are offering the opportunity to join our dynamic team, working between the patient catering and environmental services in a combined role of Food Services Assistant and Environmental Services Assistant.
This role will require you to
* Maintaining food hygiene, a clean working area and safety practices
* Deliver food & beverages to the hospital patients and staff
* Ensure a high standard of cleanliness through all areas of the hospital is maintained in line with infection control guidelines
* Work productively in a team whilst independently managing your workload.
Your Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to remain calm under pressure. You will also be punctual, reliable and with a commitment to genuine, friendly customer service.
* Previous experience in a catering or housekeeping role desirable, but not essential.
* Understanding of food safety and hygiene principles
* Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
* Compliance with Food Safety and Workplace, Health and Safety
* Certificate II or Certificate III in Hospitality (desirable)

Essential Requirements
The successful applicant must provide the following evidence at the time of employment:
* National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
* Working-With-Children check
* Immunisation against infectious diseases, which will include annual Influenza.
