The role involves working closely with architects, product owners, analysts, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet project requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Ab Initio components, strong technical skills in SQL and Unix, and the ability to work independently on various stages of the SDLC lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Develop, test, and deploy ETL solutions using Ab Initio tools such as GDE, Plans, EME, m-hub, and DQE. Collaborate with solution architects to translate high-level designs into detailed technical solutions. Write and optimize SQL queries and Unix shell scripts to support ETL processes. Implement Ab Initio components, including PSETS, PDL programming, and meta-programming. Utilize Ab Initio parallelism techniques for optimized data processing. Assist in migrating and running Ab Initio solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS and containerized environments. Perform unit testing and validate results to ensure quality and compliance with requirements. Prepare and maintain documentation, including ETL design documents, deployment guides, and runbooks. Participate in code and test case reviews to ensure standards and best practices are followed. Identify and address technical issues or risks during the project lifecycle proactively. Required Skills and Experience Hands-on Experience : Proven experience in Ab Initio development, including GDE, Plans, EME, metadata hub, and DQE.
