Working within the academic structure of the University's Department of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Newborn Health, you will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality clinical teaching and learning opportunities in the Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Newborn Health program within the University's innovative Doctor of Medicine course. Your responsibilities will include: Deliver teaching sessions and facilitate student learning through various formats. Contribute to the preparation and marking of assessments, including written examinations, portfolios, mini-CEX, OSCEs, and SCBDs. Participate in teaching team meetings, peer observation sessions, and professional development programs. Provide student support and mentoring, attend departmental meetings, and assist with administrative duties related to academic responsibilities. Who We Are Looking For You will be an advanced trainee or Fellow in obstetrics, gynaecology (FRANZCOG), or an equivalent discipline, with medical registration in Australia. Your flexibility, enthusiasm, experience, and commitment to quality clinical teaching are essential, along with highly developed interpersonal skills to interact effectively with colleagues and students. Strong team skills to achieve excellent educational outcomes are also required. You will also have: Potential for further enhancement of professional and teaching skills. A Post graduate training in Clinical Education is desirable. This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University.
