You'll be responsible for creating high-quality design and audiovisual services that align with the Department's strategic objectives. Collaborating closely with various stakeholders, you will implement best-practice visual communication to educate their clients about the range of services they provide.What we're looking for: 4+ years' experience in the design field with a strong portfolio of creative multimedia assets;Government experience is very advantageous;Project management expertise and a digital-first approach to design; andAbility to balance creativity with strategic goals.Key Responsibilities: Creative Asset Delivery: Produce creative assets, including graphic design, layout, photography, videography, and animation from concept to completion;Stakeholder Engagement: Work collaboratively with the Communications and web teams to identify and leverage opportunities for visual communication that supports organisational goals;Needs Assessment: Understand the requirements of the Department's business units and effectively negotiate with stakeholders to balance needs;Brand Compliance: Ensure the consistent application of Queensland Government branding, the Department's visual identity, and accessibility standards in all creative outputs;Design Principles: Apply a solid understanding of UX/UI and customer experience design principles;Procurement Management: Coordinate procurement services when necessary and liaise with external service providers to obtain quotes and negotiate contracts;Strategic Alignment: Maintain awareness of the Department's strategic and operational objectives, advising on visual communication methods to fulfill those objectives; andTrend Awareness: Stay informed about current and emerging trends in design and audiovisual communication, providing insights on their integration into our work.How to ApplyFor more information or a confidential discussion please call Holly Greenwood at u&u on ******** or email (email protected) quoting reference number 39572At u&u Recruitment Partners, we value diversity, equity and inclusion.
