We are seeking individuals with a passion for caring for the elderly who want to start their career with a caring, supportive, and progressive company.
Our client, a well-established Aged Care organisation, is seeking new team members (trainees) to join their Aged Care team. No experience or qualification is required, as we will train you on the job in Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33021). If successful, you will assist the elderly in a Residential Aged Care setting with their daily lifestyle and activities.
We are expanding this team to accommodate the increase in new residents and the growth of the industry.
We are recruiting part-time trainees, offering a minimum of 15 hours (guaranteed) with the potential to work up to 35 hours a week.
You will be offered a set 24-month contract for the traineeship, with locked-in shifts on negotiated days and hours agreed upon during recruitment. Once qualified, within 12 - 15 months, you will then move to a qualified rate.
You will be partnered with a workplace Buddy/Mentor who will train you on the job, supporting and guiding you. You will also receive support from the Facility Leadership Team, Learning and Development Team, Registered Training Organisation, and Ternary throughout your full traineeship.
The aim of these positions is to transition to ongoing employment once completed.

* To access State Funding (for the training), must be a Permanent Resident or Citizen
* Regular availability to work AM shifts (6:30 am to 2:30 pm), PM shifts (2:30 pm to 10:00 pm), and to attend training (9:30 am to 4:30 pm)
