A Postdoctoral Research Fellow position is available to join a Snow Medical laboratory at the Australian National University. Snow Medical’s vision is to create the next generation of exceptional, visionary biomedical research. Labs funded by Snow Medical are provided long-term, stable funding to build exceptional, world-leading multidisciplinary research programs and teams.
Opportunities are available for outstanding and motivated scientists funded by Snow Medical. As a Snow Postdoctoral Researcher, you will be part of an exceptional research team in a Snow Medical Lab based at a leading Australian biomedical research institute (https://snowmedical.org.au/fellow/). You will be part of a unique network, have the opportunity to lead significant projects, and develop new skills in a supportive environment with a strong emphasis on scientific excellence and a focus on impactful questions.
Snow Postdoctoral Researchers will receive a competitive salary/package and investment into their leadership and professional development. Snow Postdoctoral Researchers are expected to show scientific leadership within the themes of the host laboratory and may be provided with the opportunity to manage a small team, depending on experience. The program will support career development through mentoring and leadership training, and provide networking opportunities.
Snow Postdoctoral Researchers will also be eligible and encouraged to participate in short-term placements in other Snow Fellow laboratories to gain expertise in new techniques, bring additional skills to the host laboratory or institution, and broaden their network.

We are looking for someone who:
* A PhD in a relevant discipline including Epigenetics, Immunology, Cancer Biology, Transcriptional Regulation, Functional Genomics, Computational Biology or Bioinformatics.
* Outstanding publication track record, with demonstrated ability to lead projects to completion.
* Expertise in methods and approaches relevant to specific Snow Medical programs, for example, CRISPR-Cas9 systems, genomics, epigenetics, bulk & single-cell multi-omics, immunology, bioinformatics, computational biology.
* Excellent time management, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills.
