About the role: The Functions and Events Producer devises and delivers the Museum's high-profile events.
The role oversees venue functions, including the venue operations, by liaising with the Museum's catering/event vendor, other event contractors, and Museum operations staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality functions for clients.
The implementation of sales and marketing strategies is also undertaken by this position, in conjunction with the Museum's catering/event vendor.
This role also oversees the event planning, and the delivery of the resources is captured in the Event Booking software; the role ensures training in use of this software is undertaken by all relevant staff.

The successful applicant will be expected to:
Design and deliver events with Museum staff such as exhibition launches, and work closely with the Museum's caterer and events vendors to deliver these high-profile events ensuring effective stakeholder management.Oversee and coordinate, with the contracted Caterer, the management of Museum venue resources to ensure the delivery of the Museum function's business.Oversee the coordination of the Museum venue booking software and physical resources, including collating relevant data and supporting training requirements for staff.#J-18808-Ljbffr
