What role will you play? As Project Manager, you will manage the overall planning, execution, and delivery of renewable energy projects and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful development and delivery of renewable energy projects. You will be expected to work independently and collaboratively to deliver results as part of a team.
What you offer 5+ years' experience in wind energy engineering or construction with a project developer, utility, energy or infrastructure business performing Project Manager role Motivated self-starter mentality Strong leadership and communication skills and be able to demonstrate stakeholder management experience, including a confidence and ability to work seamlessly with a range of project stakeholders Non-negotiable focus on health and safety standards for all project activities Demonstrated experience managing projects pre-construction through to completion including managing budgets, risk and schedules for the project during the construction phase and ensuring that projects meet all regulatory requirements Knowledge of construction contracts including negotiations with suppliers and contractors and the bid process Capability to drive, develop and implement project management principles across a multi-disciplinary team Ability to identify gaps in scope and responsibility to ensure project success, requiring a comprehensive understanding of engineering, construction, permitting concepts and rules of conduct Experience managing EPC contracts and/or delivery of split scope contracting models Strong report writing skills and ability to complete regular project reports Excellent communication skills to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including local communities, landholders and Traditional Owners Availability for travel to site to work with Site Management and contractors to coordinate construction activities and resolve any site related issues A degree (or equivalent) in an environmental, engineering, planning or science or business-based subject with excellent project management skills Certification with the Australian Institute of Project Management (or equivalent) will be viewed favourably A key aspect to our success is a strong focus on workplace, health, safety and environment, as well as the ability to work in a diverse and inclusive business environment.
