The G0 Ward (Acute Assessment, Stroke, and Medical) at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Clinical Nurse to join their team on a temporary basis.
Your opportunity
The Clinical Nurse provides advanced level clinical skills to ensure patient-focused evidence-based nursing care. The role plans and coordinates the clinical management of patient/client care and provides leadership and support to the nursing staff within the unit.
About The Team
The G0 ward consists of 26 funded beds. A multidisciplinary team provides care to patients with a wide variety of acute and chronic medical conditions and is inclusive of 4 dedicated stroke beds. The unit is working towards supporting an Acute Assessment Unit consisting of 8 beds. A multidisciplinary team provides care across the care continuum from admission through to discharge.
