Job Title: Service Manager in Residential Services
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Service Manager to lead our residential service in Moe, supporting individuals with disabilities.
About the Role:
* Lead and motivate a team of Disability Support Workers to enhance the quality of life for our clients.
* Manage the day-to-day operations of supported accommodation services, exceeding identified Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Provide high-quality support to customers and their families, offering management support to care staff and hands-on involvement on the floor for a minimum of 2 hours per day.
Key Responsibilities:
* Performance Management: Ensure the overall performance of the service aligns with annual work plans and meets established targets.
* Person-Directed Support: Promote person-directed support and community participation that exceeds minimum disability standards, all within available resources.
* Operational Excellence: Manage the rostered after-hours on-call duty.
About You:
* Management Experience: Demonstrated management experience, preferably within a community services environment.
* Leadership Skills: Experienced leader or a support worker ready to step up as a leader.
* Sector Knowledge: Understanding of legislation and standards relevant to the disability sector.
