Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechatronics Engineer with a strong background in robotics, PLC programming, and welding automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with KUKA robots and a deep understanding of mechatronics systems for manufacturing environments. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement mechatronic systems involving KUKA robots, PLC programming, and welding automation. Program, troubleshoot, and optimize KUKA robotic systems for a variety of industrial applications. Develop and modify PLC code for automation processes (experience with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar platforms preferred). Work closely with the manufacturing and maintenance teams to ensure optimal operation of automated systems. Conduct robotic welding system integration, programming, and optimisation. Perform diagnostics, fault finding, and repairs on robotic and PLC-controlled systems. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes, reduce downtime, and increase efficiency. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields. 5+ years of experience in mechatronics, robotics, and automation engineering, particularly with KUKA robots. Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar). Strong understanding of robotic welding processes and system integration. Experience with HMI/SCADA systems is a plus. Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
