Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled engineer to perform various tasks related to construction and project management. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing multiple projects, analyzing data, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Gather and review data on facility or equipment specifications, company restrictions, completion dates, and construction feasibility
* Coordinate with architecture/engineering firms to develop design criteria and prepare layout and detail drawings
* Support the preparation of bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities/equipment acquisition
* Review and estimate design costs, including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs
* Commission and qualify or direct the commissioning and qualification of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules
* Plan and manage smaller capital projects related to construction activities
Technical Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction preferred
* Technical experience in pharmaceutical or regulated industry may be considered in lieu of an Engineering degree
* Experience in engineering or construction project management
* Experience managing multiple projects in remote locations
* Experience in a regulated environment
* Analysis and project definition experience
* Strong communication skills with customers, design teams, contractors, and management
* Good problem-solving, technical learning, time management, and prioritizing skills
* Functional knowledge of cGMPs and manufacturing operations in FDA-regulated facilities
