Permanent, part-time (30.4 hours per week) Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, the Admissions Officer leads and manages the enrolment and admissions process at Orana to ensure a seamless, engaging and proactive enrolment experience for all prospective families.
You are highly professional and visible and act as a liaison and representative of Orana Steiner School and are able to promote the School's philosophy and ethos.
Duties Coordinate the complete enrolment process from Early Childhood to Senior College, by processing applications and coordinating interviews alongside the relevant faculty Head in an accurate and timely manner.Handle enrolment enquiries through phone, email and in-person, and engage with and nurture prospective families through the onboarding journey, to build lasting relationships with new families.Organise and manage school tours, open days and information evenings alongside the Marketing and Communications Manager and school leadership.Administer ongoing enrolment management, withdrawal notifications and processing interschool transfers.Ensure administrative processes are robust, streamlined and in line with Australian Independent Schools' best-practice.Provide regular reports to the board and school management team regarding enrolment activity (new enrolments, withdrawals, trends).Ability to prepare and maintain accurate records.IT literacy and ability to use various systems and databases.Ability to work independently in a complex work environment.Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of personalities.A commitment to actively promoting and supporting the Steiner ethos and culture of the school.High level of communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.High level of personal initiative and the ability to work independently.Calm under pressure and able to prioritise workloads and to work to demanding deadlines.High level of attention to detail.Ability to maintain confidentiality.Process driven and able to coordinate concurrent enrolment applications.Highly organised and detail-orientated.ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WwVP) Registration.The right to work in Australia, unrestricted.What we offer The right to disconnect outside of work hours for a better work/life balance.Salary sacrificing.Free onsite parking.Discounted school fees for eligible employees.Our commitment to maintaining a physically and psychosocially safe environment for all staff, students and visitors to the school.Clerical and Administrative Officer Level 5 (*$99,519 – $105,643) per annum, full time Salary and conditions of employment are determined by the Independent Schools ACT (Support and Operational Staff) Staff Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2021.
