Job Title: General Practitioner – Cairns, Queensland.
Job Type: Permanent – full-time or part-time.
Practice Information:
The practice is currently seeking a full-time or part-time General Practitioner to join the GP-owned practice in Cairns. They are a mixed billing practice and bulk billing Cairns locals medical appointments and privately billed Skin Checks and procedures. This new and freshly renovated Medical and Skin Cancer clinic is in a prime position on a busy street and boasts a modern work environment with a friendly full-time nursing and administration staff. On-site Pathology collection with access to diabetes support and audiology testing, with pharmacy and other allied health nearby.
Position Description:
They cater to a wide demographic, and the successful applicant will offer full spectrum care to patients including chronic disease management, Work Cover, ATSI Assessments, family health and DVA. Existing provision exists for a GP with special interest in Skin Cancer, but other special interest areas would be supported.
Qualifications & Experience:
o Current registration with AHPRA
o Experience as a General Practitioner or similar medical role
o Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
o Excellent communication and time-management skills
o Familiarity with computerised medical software, in particular Best Practice
o A commitment to continuing education and professional development
After Hours Requirements: No
Salary Information:
Up to 70% of billings based on experience
