Join our operational asset team, focusing on supporting the procurement processes for major projects to the agency for various operational assets such as emergency vehicles, telecommunications, and specialist equipment. In this role, you will directly manage various processes of major procurement projects, ensuring successful coordination and management of contract implementation for CFS.
As the Project Manager, you will serve as the primary liaison for CFS within a sector-wide collaborative procurement effort at times including SAMFS, SASES, and SAFECOM. You will engage stakeholders, including CFS staff and volunteers, throughout the project's duration.
This position is based at the SA Emergency Service Sector Headquarters in Keswick and reports to the Director - Contract Management and Delivery. Some work outside regular business hours will be required to facilitate stakeholder engagement. Additionally, as an employee of an emergency service agency, you may need to be available for on-call rostering to support operational activities.
This is a contract position through December 2027.
Remuneration : ASO8 $121,107 - $125,679
