Job DescriptionThe Revenue Manager reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for maximizing hotel room revenue through effective pricing, rate parity distribution across all channels, and hotel inventory management.What you’ll be doing:Working inclusively with the General Manager and hotel’s leadership team in developing budgets, long-term strategies and short-term tactics to increase the hotel’s overall revenue and maximize profit.Working closely with the General Manager, Food and Beverage Manager, and Director of Sales and Marketing, focusing on maximizing hotel revenue to achieve budgeted and forecasted revenue targets with an emphasis on trend recognition, demand anticipation, and opportunity analysis.Forecasting by market segment and day to determine key needs and opportunity days, communicating these to the sales and operations teams for a clear approach to achieving revenue strategies.Producing reports and providing insights that will support and evaluate the hotel’s business strategies.Proactively leading Loyalty recruitment throughout the hotel.Executing high-level reporting and detailed business analysis regularly for owners and our regional team.What we are looking for:Minimum 2 years experience as a Revenue Manager and background in front office and/or reservations in a dynamic hotel environment.Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop the team.Possess strong financial acumen recommending budgeting strategies for revenue maximization.Ability to identify trends in the market and translate them into effective real-time strategies.Confident and articulate communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Demonstrated business acumen with the confidence to exercise good judgment and consideration of commercial implications.Proven ability to review statistics in detail and extrapolate key information communicated to various stakeholders, including our owners.A willingness to be hands-on within the operation and drive a culture of guest obsession and loyalty with the team.The ability to create meaningful connections, fostering a high level of trust with the team.A collaborative leader with a strategic and analytical focus.Previous experience with Opera Cloud, Ideas, STR, and advanced Excel skills.Superior organizational, time management, and follow-through skills.Self-motivated and target-driven.Flexible and willing to work in a dynamic, fast-paced team.Current First Aid certificate or the ability to obtain one.Experience in the hospitality industry and ACCOR is advantageous.Unlimited work rights for Australia.
