The role This DBA role is responsible for the installation, administration, monitoring, maintenance and security of databases as well as contributing to improvements in database standards, procedures and best practices. What you will do Support problem investigation and resolution for corporate application databases. Monitor and optimise database performance to meet SLAs. Maintain database setups in development, QA, and production environments. Assist with capacity and performance planning. Support vendor relations and license management. Implement and maintain SQL HA features, like multi-subnet Always On Availability. Identify improvements for procedures and maintain strong communication with teams. Support database design for new data projects on-premises and in the cloud. Automate tasks using TSQL, PowerShell, Azure Functions, or KQL.
