About Us
Our client specializes in providing industrial remediation services and asset preservation solutions across various industries including infrastructure, mining, marine, defense, and commercial sectors. They are currently looking for a Project Manager to join their defense solutions team at their Adelaide office.
About the role:
Supervising and overseeing all aspects of project execution, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and within budget.
Ensuring that project resources, including manpower and materials, are allocated appropriately to meet project requirements.
Managing relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are understood and met throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitoring costs and budgets closely to prevent overruns and identify areas for cost savings.
Coordinating with internal departments and external suppliers, including labor suppliers, to ensure smooth project execution.
Assisting in meeting and managing client expectations effectively, while also working to strengthen client relationships for future projects.
Creating detailed documentation such as project plans, Gantt charts, and project specifications to provide a clear roadmap for project completion
Skills and Experience:
5 years of experience or above in Asset Remediation, Infrastructure, or Defense environments.
Degree holder in Engineering or Construction Management.
Proactive and professional Project Engineer with demonstrated proficiency in communicating effectively with all stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and operational staff.
Experience in monitoring and managing budgets.
Possesses technical expertise in coatings, surface preparation, hazardous substances management, and application processes.
Familiarity with Quality systems, including progression, ITPs, and QA/QC liaison.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc.
