About the role Permanent full time opportunity to provide high quality, cost efficient and effective clinical and non-clinical services to directly or indirectly benefit the patients/clients of Metro North Health Service.This includes research as well as teaching the health professionals of the future. This role encompasses leadership in Orthopaedics in the established centre of Redcliffe Hospital, and implementation of a new and complementary greenfield service at Caboolture Hospital. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: Along with the Deputy Directors of Orthopaedics, review and refine current services at Redcliffe Hospital to align with Caboolture requirements and develop new models of care required for the Redcliffe Hospital Expansion project. Take a lead role in managing medical workforce within the Orthopaedic department including recruitment, leave management and rostering. Work collaboratively with the Medical Director Surgical Service Line to manage resources and budget for your clinical area.
