ConsultANZ is looking for a results-driven Technical Sales Representative for our client, a leading manufacturer in construction materials. The position involves interpreting and understanding technical requirements while presenting tailored solutions and information to clients in the civil contracting market, especially for the road and pavement industry. Key Duties: Practicing relationship selling by fostering strong, long-term partnerships with clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs to deliver tailored solutions and drive repeat business. Identifying and securing new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding an existing customer network. Developing and managing the project pipeline, ensuring all accounts and contacts are accurately updated in the CRM. Building relationships with key stakeholders, including asset owners and contractors in the road construction industry, to address their technical and operational needs. Reviewing technical drawings and specifications, assisting with tenders and quotations for supply contracts. Managing the sales cycle efficiently, achieving revenue targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Providing after-sales support in collaboration with Specialist Engineers. Occasionally working shifts, weekends, and traveling interstate as needed. About You: A minimum of 3 years experience in a technical sales role. Experience or familiarity with the road construction and/or asphalt industry will be beneficial. Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Business would be an advantage. In-depth knowledge of the road construction industry and its key stakeholders. A strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a results-driven attitude, with the ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team member. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to secure and deliver presentations, meetings, and address technical inquiries effectively. A demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service and build lasting relationships. Must hold a current, valid, and full clean driver’s license. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. A professional, solution-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to contributing to a highly motivated team.
