Who we are looking forThe State Street Global Transactions Control and Banking - Payments team is seeking an experienced Project Lead to direct Business User Acceptance Testing activities related to payment processing. You must have a strong understanding of the global payments infrastructure as well as the various modernization initiatives across markets and Financial Market Utilities. You have extensive experience and demonstrated ability to act as a liaison between operational, project and technology teams, vendors and external industry groups working on large scale cross-platform high risk projects.What you will be responsible forAs a Project Lead you will:Actively attain SME level knowledge and understanding of business processes and flows via in-depth analysis of workflows and Standard Operating ProceduresHost interviews and deep dive sessions in order to understand and document business use casesDevelop a thorough test strategy and plan that is both efficient and encompasses all desired functionality and workflowsBe the voice of the business, articulate and champion business requirementsCollaborate across teams to coordinate testing activities across platformsClearly and concisely communicate defects and expected results to IT and project partnersAssess business impact of all identified defects and recommend prioritizationActively participate in operational readiness activities including planning, training and documentationBuild meaningful and effective relationships with business, project and IT teams across the organizationThink outside the box to identify and recommend opportunities to improve operational workflows through technologyDevelop and distribute business user acceptance testing metricsPerform business user acceptance testingTriage post implementation issues and defects, monitor resolution and coordinate re-testing effortsManage and coach Business Analysts on the team in the APAC regionCoordinate and manage all external testing applicable to State Street’s Payments infrastructure e.g. SWIFT, RITS, CHATS, FEDWire, CHIPS etc.What we valueThese skills will help you succeed in this roleExceptional operational and IT knowledge and understanding of the global payments infrastructure including SWIFT (MT, ISO20022), RITS, CHATS etc.Understanding of liquidity management principles and processes as it relates to global payment settlement systems and correspondent banking modelsProven ability to influence courageously at all level, excellent interpersonal and communication skillsDemonstrated ability to manage testing activities in large scale corporate projects and a strong understanding of structured quality assurance practicesExcellent problem solving and analytical skills, attention to detail and organizationSelf-starter with an aptitude to troubleshoot and learn independentlyExtensive hands-on experience managing large projects with competing priorities and diverse stakeholdersEducation & Preferred QualificationsUniversity degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Technology or relevant professional experience5+ years experience in the payments industry, managing testing/implementation activities for large scale enterprise projects with diverse stakeholdersYou can demonstrate in-depth knowledge of payments infrastructureEnd Date: January 31, 2025For further information, and to apply, please visit our website via the “Apply” button below.
