About the role
As the Program Manager, your responsibilities will include managing operational budgets, meeting financial and operational targets, and providing regular reports on performance, budget, risks, and compliance. Key aspects of the role include translating strategic goals into actionable plans and guiding teams to achieve key objectives.
In this position, you'll employ an empowering leadership approach, providing coaching and mentoring to foster a culture of growth and effectiveness among team members. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, you'll play a crucial role in implementing our organisation's operational strategy and exemplifying our values.
This role will cover four offices across Cessnock, East Maitland, Muswellbrook, and Taree, with regular travel expected for each location.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess substantial experience in the Housing and Homelessness sector, including collaboration with governmental and non-governmental entities. Your expertise in people management, communication, and stakeholder engagement will be paramount. You will also possess:
* Qualifications in business management or significant leadership experience in community services.
* Proficient knowledge of policy, process, and procedure related to Housing Access & Demand.
* Strong reporting and communication skills.
* Demonstrated experience in identifying and managing risks effectively.
* Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
* Proven track record in mentoring teams to achieve quality outcomes.

* Monday to Friday role with fortnightly RDO options.
* Salary Packaging of up to $15,899 per FBT year available.
* Open to candidates based in East Maitland or Taree.
